I never remember that I have a blog any more. It seems that other things take up my time. Mostly, the only online thing I think about any more is my daily picture on Flickr. There’s a lot of research that needs to be done to come up with ideas for every day, so that’s time I’m not spending writing or reading blog stuff. And we’ll be heading into heavy duty garden time pretty soon, so that’s going to take up a lot of my brain time, too. I sort of get obsessed about things and all.
Now, last night, Statia and Meester were over for a visit. Whenever we get together with them, there is ALWAYS a lot of blog fodder created. I remember a few things but I can’t even begin to formulate how to describe the things we discuss. I think it would be just too much to simply start talking about them.
Suffice it to say that there was much hilarity. How’s that for some good blog material, eh??
Not so much. I know.
However, when I popped over to Statia’s site to get the link for this post, I do see that she was able to elucidate some of the tasty topics we covered last night. She’s very good at that!!
FINALLY! I have been sitting at 19½ pounds down for four days. It must have been something to see me standing naked on the scale hollering, ”DROP AND GIVE ME 20!” But it didn’t.
For four days.
But today?
Hit the 20 pound mark!! Woo hoo!
So, let’s see. I started on NutriSystem on January 19th. It’s been a month and three weeks and I’m down 20 pounds. I do really appreciate this diet but, damn, I could kill for some real pizza!
Only 60 more pounds to go and maybe I can have a slice. That will be somewhere in the year 2015, I think.
Oh, and as a side note, I had an MRI on my knee last Saturday. I get to go hear what I need to do about that next Wednesday. I’m hoping for two completely different things.
1) My knee is fine and nothing needs to be done (although I can’t use my treadmill).
2) I need to have surgery so I can start using my treadmill again - exercise is going to be crucial to keep up the weight loss!
I’ll find out next Wednesday!
(Also? Went to a new dentist today. Looks like I’m going to have to drop a cool $1000 for some dental work. I hate dentists. I really do.)
