Buzz:
It seems like things are going pretty well on your project. GREAT JOB!! You should get some sort of prize. Or a ribbon.
Or pancakes.
Well, that was exciting. Glad there wasn’t any more damage.
[Buzz it]Buzz:
This was surreal, wasn’t it?
[Buzz it]EEP!
Let’s hope it was because they were trying to avoid a cat crossing the road and not because they had too many drinks (or were too busy texting).
[Buzz it]Wow - I feel all caught up. Didn’t even know you were in pt.
Nice to have 4 days in a row off. And if it does snow more, you won’t have to tackle the roads.
I read about your dinner. It sounded terrific.
Have a nice day!

OK, something really weird and disturbing is going on in my head. For the last three mornings, I have woken up with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in my head. THREE MORNINGS, PEOPLE! This is bordering on cruel and unusual punishment.
What’s worse? Yesterday morning, I had two songs in my head. The aforementioned “Thriller” coupled very nicely with “Dirty Diana” - also a Michael Jackson song!
WTF??
I mean seriously - W-T-F???
**UPDATE** Um, holy crap. I just read this headline on CNN: Jackson sued over ‘Thriller’ profits
What is up with all of this??
Congratulations, humankind! The US now has a new president.
I wish him the best of luck!!
Things I did today so far:
1. Woke up.
2. Peed.
3. Brushed my teeth.
4. Brushed my teeth.
5. Peed.
Oh. And between #3 and #4, I took NyQuil and slept for 5 hours.
Whew! What a day! I’m exhausted! I’d better go lie down…
Said softly and gently…
Happy New Year!
We had a really good time last night with Statia and Meester. They left around 2:00 this morning and Buzz and I stayed up and talked and talked and sang songs until about 5:00. Naturally, there was much alcohol consumed (but really only by Buzz and me). We made a valiant effort to drink everything that we had in the house last night and so we are paying a little for that now.
Buzz is in the shower at the moment and then he is going to run out to Sonic for some greasy food that should make us feel just fine. What a nice thing for him to do! It’s really cold out, he didn’t get a lot of sleep, and he’s feeling some effects from last night’s merrymaking. And still, he will go out and get food! Sweet!!
And I think this is just about as much effort as I can put forth today. I did start a new 365 Project over on Flickr. I’m attempting to take a picture every day that represents the number of day that I’m on in the project, which also happens to be the Julian date since I started today. So far, I’m pleased with the pictures in my project!
I’m also quite pleased that I was able to accomplish the treatment on the picture that I did and that the photo came out as clearly as it did, considering how small the object actually is (it’s about 2 inches tall) and the level of bleary-eyedness that exists in my head this morning. We’ll see if I can keep up with this but I’m kind of excited about it and anxious to put our little point-and-shoot camera through its paces and see if I can’t take a decent picture once in a while. It should be fun.
Well, that’s about it for me. I hope you all had fun last night and begin your New Year healthy and happy. Cheers, everyone!
