Well, that was exciting. Glad there wasn’t any more damage.
[Buzz it]Buzz:
This was surreal, wasn’t it?
[Buzz it]EEP!
Let’s hope it was because they were trying to avoid a cat crossing the road and not because they had too many drinks (or were too busy texting).
[Buzz it]Wow - I feel all caught up. Didn’t even know you were in pt.
Nice to have 4 days in a row off. And if it does snow more, you won’t have to tackle the roads.
I read about your dinner. It sounded terrific.
Have a nice day!
I think these are good things.
I’ve never liked the smell of cigarettes (grew up in a house where 4 packs of cigarettes a day were smoked), and never salt anything.
Any time we eat out in a restaurant, I may as well just leave a glass of water by the bed. I’m thirsty all night long.

I had a couple of requests for Mark Ruffalo (another one I don’t know - do I actually live on this planet or what??) from Megan and Azzy, so here ya go! (I personally liked the 2nd picture better but then you can’t see his face, so I thought I’d better put up two pics.) Enjoy!
P.S. He reminds me of Harry Hamlin. Someone from MY generation! Heh.
Today is Buzz’s birthday!! We have sort of an odd tradition when it comes to birthdays between us and that’s to not do anything, really. We’ll usually do something for dinner - either prepare a really nice dinner at home or go out, but that’s about it. No gifts. And that’s just fine with us. We treat each other so well all year long, what’s different about a birthday day?
But I’d like to wish a very happy birthday to my loving and wonderful husband. He’s my greatest source of joy every day of my life.
Happy Birthday, honey! Love you lots!!
This isn’t really a MOTD post. I’m just in dire need of a little hair of the dog and all that makes me think of is that Nazareth album from 1975. You see, I’m currently embedded in a three-star hangover. Buzz and I sure know how to kick off a vacation! So I’m going to pretend like I’m in North Carolina and allow myself a beer before noon. Just for medicinal purposes, of course! In the immortal words of our friend, Beanne, “BITE THE DOG!!”
Oops, I forgot to do a WOTW last Friday! I’m just not used to this yet! So, here’s my first request for a WOTW. From my husband! He wanted to see Amber Benson, who played the lovely Tara on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. I just couldn’t decide between these pictures, so, honey, you get ‘em all!
Oh, I love that title!
I just found out that that’s what is happening when I experience brain freeze! My spheno-palantine ganglion are spasming!
I’m eating Rita’s Water Ice and, fortunately, found out that you cannot die from brain freeze. No matter how much you wish for death!
I got a request from Azzy for Eomer. Now, while this picture is not his Eomer-ness, it is most definitely Karl Urban, so I’m going to consider this a request honored sideways. And, who knows? Maybe I’ll get to Eomer for another MOTD. Not a bad idea!
Since it’s Cassie-B’s birthday today, it’s only fitting that she gets her MOTD request honored! She requested Johnny Depp from the “Benny and Joon” era. I think this one fits the bill. Enjoy!
Help me celebrate the birthday of one of my most favoritist people on earth, Cassie-B! Yayy!!

And her birthday officially kicks off our Birthday Season™. Between today and Sepember 18th, we will celebrate 15 birthdays - one of which is Buzz’s and one of which is mine. So that’s a whole lot of partying! I can only imagine that Novembers were cold in these here parts on those various years - heh heh!!
Another request for Janet, my most faithful requestor! (Perhaps she just doesn’t like my choices...heh!) Here is some Heath Ledger. Enjoy!!
I don’t think I have seen him in anything yet. What is he in that I should see?
You know what commercial I truly hate? That Suzuki commercial where the guy leaves his house in the morning and sky dives down to his car at the bottom of the canyon where he lives. Dude! Everyone knows that you can’t get back up to your house at the end of the day without the car so what the hell?? I really, really hate that commercial!
Luckily for me, it was on 8,000,000,00049 times during the baseball game tonight! Sheesh!!! And after two days of a migraine, I’m oh so happy to see it 8,000,000,0049 times! Oh, yes, I am!
Ugh.
Fortunately for me, there was a Corwin’s Quest on Animal Planet and I switched over because Pat Burrell wasn’t playing in the baseball game anyway. And you know that’s the only reason to watch the Phillies play!!
I didn’t get a chance to post my MOTD this morning, so I’m trying to make up for it now. Since I am currently out of requests, you’ll be seeing the ones that I want to post for a while! (Feel free to let me know if you’d like to see anyone(s).)
Kiefer Sutherland. Not looking like he does in “24”. Looking like I like him to look!
Have a good evening!
This is too funny! Photograph this blog post (including your monitor and its immediate surroundings), and post the resulting pic on your blog. Then the next person photographs your blog post and posts it, and so on. Leave your post URL in the comments so people will be able to follow the chain, and link your image to the post you photographed… this way people will be able to zoom into the monitors by clicking.
It’s Sunday morning. It’s 4:45 AM. There’s a load of laundry in the washer and I’ve been sitting at the computer wondering why I haven’t made any coffee yet.
My husband left the house about an hour ago. Where’s Buzz? GONE FISHIN’. Yes, sirree, Bob, my honey is off to win hisself a fishin’ tournament!
So in honor of the event, today’s MOTD is my very favorite professional angler, whom we met the day we got married and Buzz introduced me as his “brand new wife” and he signed my t-shirt and I giggled, ‘cause he’s cute! Hank Parker.
Now, where’s my coffee?
