Reporting to you from the center of the cyclone...

Whoa! We're having some wicked weather right now. I don't mean that it's anything like California or Asia or even Illinois, but the wind is fierce! It's been howling - no, literally, howling - since about 1:00 this morning. (I know that because I've been up since then!) I'm just waiting for one of our skinny old trees in the back to come tumbling down.

I don't think I want to be here when that happens!

Batten down the hatches, boys! We're in for some nasty weather!!

I just hope Buzz doesn't have to deal with another fallen tree in the harsh winter weather, like last year.

We're getting bad thunderstorms down here this morning and it's supposed to last for almost two days. Some sort of cold front coming through...but it must be moving reallllllly slow.

The weather has been wicked weird all over the country this year! We've seen more of the wet stuff this year than we have in the past ten years! I mean, true rain, not just spittle. Keep safe and watch out for those trees!!

I think the weather is wicked everywhere. We have had rain for so many days.. I have forgotten how many. I know you have to be tired... I hope the howling has stopped by now.

I heard the wind - it keeps me up too. And when I went to work early this morning, I had almost flooded roads to deal with. The puddles were very big and some of them very deep.

It's not so bad this afternoon. But really cold feeling.
