The calm before the storm

I just thought I'd post these two pictures to remind myself later that, at one point during this sure-to-be-frantic day, things were organized and quiet.

(Keep the cats off the table, keep the cats off the table!)

The tables are set (for 25 people - that's a whole lotta people for a sit-down dinner), - this is from the perspective of the people who have to sit at the end eat off of TV trays - the turkey's in the oven, and I just have to go get a shower and get dressed. Simple, right? Everything's under control, right?

Talk to me later. I will be growling like nobody's business!
