Confessions of an Insomniac
Back in the days when I first began to not be able to sleep through the night, I would sit up and watch HBO. Catch up on all of those movies I've already seen. The problem with that was that I'd fall asleep eventually but wake up later with some sort of slasher movie on and I'd be totally freaked out! How happy was I to find Nick at Nite? No matter what time I doze off and then reawake, something happy is on. Now I'm catching up on the old episodes of "Cheers" and "Coach" and "Family Ties".
Of course, I always have this to fall back on now, too. So, if I've seen this particular episode of "Three's Company" seventy-five times, I can come in here and type away.
And here I thought that there was nothing good to come out of a torturous, sleepless night!
