HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. PRESIDENT

It’s not Mr. President’s birthday today, but it is my brother-in-law, Bill’s, birthday today, so I’m sending out a fond Happy Birthday to him!

(Can you imagine being Jackie Kennedy sitting there listening to Marilyn Monroe sing – like that – to your husband?? I’d have been so pissed! I’d have smacked her around.)

We will be going to two concerts this week – two. We very rarely go to any concerts and now look at us! We will be seeing Dar at the Keswick tonight and then, on Friday, we will be seeing Susan Werner at The Tin Angel in Philly. Of course, we will be eating dinner at Serrano’s beforehand – that goes without saying – thus ensuring that we will have primo seats for the concert. Should be fun.

hi there :) i read your husband's blog, and that's how i found you.

we have tickets to see def leppard tonight in baltimore, and i am waivering on whether or not to go (because i am utterly beat, and just don't know if i can stay up that late), but then i read your post about how you guys are going out tonight, and i thought, "if they can do it, so can i!" lol :D

so i'm going to make a valiant effort...

You can do it! (Actually, we're taking tomorrow off so we can sleep in! We're old...) Have fun at the concert - yours will be much louder than ours!
